Welcome to my writer’s blog!
For as long as I can remember I have loved words, found magic in reading and writing, and carried a notebook around to write out thoughts as soon as inspiration struck. I grew up on a beautiful, tiny island in the Pacific Ocean, immersed in my heritage and the local culture. The traditional songs, dance and folk music resonated with me, taught me that art in all forms is tangible, and that when I weave words into stories they can touch the soul. I found inspiration everywhere…climbing banyan trees, laying on my back in the grass searching for pictures in the clouds, swimming in the East China Sea beckoned by the lull of the ocean.
When I had children, my stories found a captive audience and spilled out into bedtime tales, or chronicles during long drives. It has always amazed me that characters take on a life of their own, and the adventures you start with will suddenly take turns you (even as the author) would never expect.
I have spent a very long time working and using creativity in tech, so I’m very happy to finally turn to my first love — literature — and take the time to share my stories, to write them down, to publish into books with pages that turn and illustrations that prompt even more imagination!
